The developer of the complex, called MallDova, is Moldovan-based Lemi Invest, a joint venture of the Anchor Group and Leogrant, one of the largest real estate developers in Moldova.
MallDova has four floors and 25,000 square metres of lettable area. It has more than 100 shops, a supermarket, a multiplex cinema with six screens, interactive electronic games, bowling and a children playground, Anchor Group said in a statement.
"We consider that this project will be a benchmark in the real estate development in Moldova. The investments in MallDova shows our long-term commitment in Chisinau," Lemi Invest management board member Ali Capa said in the same same statement.
In August the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) extended 42.8 million euro loan to support MallDova’s construction.
Anchor Grup is part of Turkish group FIBA, active in the financial and retailing sectors. It has developed the commercial centres Plaza Romania and Bucuresti Mall.
Leogrant is a member of Turkish construction group Summa. It owns the Leogrand Hotel & Convention Center and the New York Entertainment Center in Chisinau.
