Romania’s Allianz-Tiriac Asigurari 9-mo pretax profit jumps 68%

Gross written premiums (GWPs) on the non-life insurance segment were almost unchanged at 596.6 million lei through September, the company said in a statement.

Voluntary automotive insurances remain the biggest segment accounting for 49% of all non-life insurance GWPs or 294 million lei over the period of review.

Premiums from life insurance operations increased 5.2% to 75.9 million lei in the nine months through September.
