November 17 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Romania rose by an annual 8.1% to 105,817 units in the first ten months of 2022, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association, ACEA, indicated on Thursday.
In October alone, new passenger car registrations in Romania grew by 9.7% on the year, to 10,541 units, ACEA said in a statement.

Romanian car maker Dacia’s sales in the EU increased by 14.3% year-on-year in the first ten months of 2022, reaching 353,786 units.
Dacia’s market share edged up by 0.9 percentage points on the year, to 4.7% in January-October.
New passenger car registrations within the EU, excluding Malta, decreased by an annual 8.1% in the first ten months of 2022, reaching roughly 7.529 million units.
New passenger car registrations in Romania fell by 4.1% on the year, to 121,208 in 2021.
