Romanian water utility calls tender for building two wastewater treatment plants - TED

September 18 (SeeNews) - Romanian water utility company Compania de Apa Oltenia has invited bids for wastewater system upgrades in southwestern Dolj county under a contract worth 81.2 million lei ($23.6 million/18 million euro), a notice in the European Union's procurement journal showed on Tuesday.

The contract, whose value is free of value-added tax, involves the construction of wastewater treatment stations in Rastu Nou and Bechet villages, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) said.

The contract duration is 19 months. The bidding deadline is November 15.

The contract will be co-financed from the EU Cohesion funds in the amount of 77.31%, the other 22.69% representing national co-financing from state and local budgets and loan by the contracting authority.
