The blue-chip BET index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB [BSE:BVB], declined 0.48% to 4,870.91 points.
The BET-BK, which tracks the 25 most traded companies on the bourse, including the blue chips and the five regional investment funds, the SIFs, eased 0.91% to 1,006.55 points.
The BET-FI, which tracks the SIFs and property restitution fund Fondul Proprietatea, decreased 0.86% to 23,772.50 points. The composite BET-C index dropped 0.17% to 2,659.26 points.
The ROTX index of Romania's 15 most liquid stocks, a joint index of the Bucharest bourse and the Vienna Stock Exchange, fell 0.66% to 9,479.16 points.
BVB's total equity turnover rose to 13.8 million lei ($3.9 million/3.0 million euro), including two block deals worth a combined 3.9 million lei, from 9.4 million lei on Monday.
Blue chip Fondul Proprietatea lost 0.28% to 0.525 lei in Tuesday's largest turnover of 3.0 million lei.
Lender BRD [BSE:BRD] was the only blue-chip gainer, adding 0.38% to 7.85 lei in deals worth 1.4 million lei.
SIF Muntenia [BSE:SIF4] was the top loser among SIFs, dropping 2.03% to 0.7 lei in deals worth 96,600 lei
The BET-XT index, which tracks the 25 most liquid companies on the bourse, depreciated 0.60% to 459.33 points.
The BET-NG, which includes companies from the energy sector and utilities, closed 0.20% lower at 584.60 points.
Rasdaq-C, the composite index of the over-the-counter market RASDAQ, picked up 0.06% to 1,426.44 points. The RASDAQ turnover rose to 278,800 lei from 194,200 lei on Monday.
