Romanian Stock Mrkt Regulator Cancels Mobinvest Brokerage's Licence on Failure To Respect Mrkt Rules

BUCHAREST (Romania), December 9 (SeeNews) – Romanian stock market regulator CNVM said it has withdrawn the operating licence of local brokerage Mobinvestas as the company has failed to respect the stock market legislation.

CNVM also decided to block Mobinvest’s accounts for two weeks starting December 5, the regulator said in its weekly bulletin.

Mobinvest can appeal CNVM’s decision within 30 days.

Mobinvest has administered transactions worth 93.1 million lei ($31 million/24 million euro) so far this year, bourse data showed.
