The blue-chip BET index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB [BSE:BVB], declined 0.62% to 4,824.98 points.
The BET-BK, which tracks the 25 most traded companies on the bourse, including the blue chips and the five regional investment funds, the SIFs, fell 0.52% to 998.75 points.
The BET-FI, which tracks the SIFs and property restitution fund Fondul Proprietatea, lost 0.92%% to 23,672.29 points. The composite BET-C index shed 0.55% to 2,622.17 points.
The ROTX index of Romania's 15 most liquid stocks, a joint index of the Bucharest bourse and the Vienna Stock Exchange, edged down 0.28% to 9,539.22 points.
BVB's total equity turnover amounted to 11.5 million lei ($3.2 million/2.5 million euro), including one block deal worth 3.3 million lei. On Friday, turnover jumped to 308.51 million lei, boosted by seven block deals worth a combined 299 million lei.
Blue chip Fondul Proprietatea was the most traded stock on Monday, falling 0.74% to 0.5335 lei in deals worth 2.2 million lei.
The Bucharest Stock Exchange [BSE:BVB] was the top loser among blue chips, closing 1.77% down at 22.2 lei in deals worth 44,900 lei.
SIF Muntenia [BSE:SIF4] decreased the most among SIFs, losing 1.78% to 0.69 lei.
The BET-XT index, which tracks the 25 most liquid companies on the bourse, declined 0.75% to 453.64 points.
The BET-NG, which includes companies from the energy sector and utilities, lost 0.52% to 590.66 points.
Rasdaq-C, the composite index of the over-the-counter market RASDAQ, edged down 0.02% to 1,447.62 points. The RASDAQ turnover slumped to 134,000 lei from 1.0 million lei on Friday.
