The blue-chip BET index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB [BSE:BVB], eased 0.61% to 4,894.42 points.
The BET-BK, which tracks the 25 most traded companies on the bourse, including the blue chips and the five regional investment funds, the SIFs, fell 0.68% to 1,015.83 points.
The BET-FI, which tracks the SIFs and property restitution fund Fondul Proprietatea, picked down 0.12% to 23,979.45 points. The composite BET-C index declined 0.96% to 2,663.70 points.
The ROTX index of Romania's 15 most liquid stocks, a joint index of the Bucharest bourse and the Vienna Stock Exchange, decreased 0.59% to 9,541.74 points.
BVB's total equity turnover fell to 9.4 million lei ($2.7 million/2.1 million euro), including two block deals worth 626,500 lei, from 15.3 million lei on Friday.
Blue chip Fondul Proprietatea edged down 0.09% to 0.5265 lei in Monday's largest turnover worth 4.03 million lei.
Electromagnetica [BSE:ELMA] increased the most among blue chips, advancing 1.49% to 0.205 lei in deals worth 56,500 lei.
SIF Oltenia [BSE:SIF5] was the only gainer among SIFs, climbing 0.14% to 1.402 lei in 243,900 lei turnover.
The BET-XT index, which tracks the 25 most liquid companies on the bourse, closed 0.51% lower at 462.09 points.
The BET-NG, which includes companies from the energy sector and utilities, lost 0.79% to 585.77 points.
Rasdaq-C, the composite index of the over-the-counter market RASDAQ, inched down 0.56% to 1,425.59 points. The RASDAQ turnover grew to 194,200 lei from 154,065 lei on Friday.
