The blue-chip BET index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB [BSE:BVB], rose 0.05% to 4,820.68 points.
The BET-BK index, which tracks the 25 most traded companies on the bourse, including the blue chips and the five regional investment funds, the SIFs, closed 0.89% higher at 995.25 points.
The BET-FI, which tracks the SIFs and property restitution fund Fondul Proprietatea, advanced 1.03% to 23,298.51 points. The composite BET-C index gained 0.16% to 2,641.36 points.
The ROTX index of Romania's 15 most liquid stocks, a joint index of the Bucharest bourse and the Vienna Stock Exchange, closed 0.42% higher at 9,397.43 points.
BVB's equity turnover fell to 9.1 million lei ($2.6 million/2.0 million euro) from 9.8 million lei on Friday.
Blue chip Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] rose 0.49% to 0.5125 lei in Monday's highest turnover of 3.53 million lei.
SIF Transilvania [BSE:SIF3] was the top gainer among the SIFs, advancing 2.68% to 0.5750 lei in the day's second-largest turnover of 1.4 million lei.
The BET-XT index, which tracks the 25 most liquid companies on the bourse, gained 0.37% to 453.35 points.
The BET-NG, which includes companies from the energy sector and utilities, added 0.22% to 581.11 points.
Rasdaq-C, the composite index of the over-the-counter market RASDAQ, rose 0.05% to 1,433.89 points. The RASDAQ turnover jumped to 708,175 lei from 111,519 lei on Friday.
