The blue-chip BET index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB [BSE:BVB], picked up 0.35% to end at 4,775.55 points.
The BET-BK, which tracks the 25 most traded companies on the bourse, including the blue chips and the five regional investment funds, the SIFs, climbed 0.23% to 989.01 points.
The BET-FI, which tracks the SIFs and property restitution fund Fondul Proprietatea, closed 0.29% higher at 23,432.42 points.
The composite BET-C index appreciated 0.36% to 2,610.28 points.
The ROTX index of Romania's 15 most liquid stocks, a joint index of the Bucharest bourse and the Vienna Stock Exchange, increased 0.40% to 9,504.34 points.
BVB's total equity turnover rose to 11.4 million lei ($3.2 million/2.5 million euro) from 11.1 million lei on Friday.
Drug distributor Ropharma [BSE:RPH] was the most traded stock, gaining 1.57% to 0.6470 lei in a turnover of 5.55 million lei. Rimia Investments sold 8.75 million Ropharma shares on Monday at an average price of 0.63 lei each on the Bucharest bourse, local brokerage SSIF Ieba Trust said in a bourse filing.
Blue chip Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] ended flat at 0.5345 lei in Monday's highest turnover worth 1.7 million lei.
SIF Transilvania [BSE:SIF3] was the most traded SIF, raising 1.18% to 0.6020 lei in turnover worth 841,753 lei.
The BET-XT index, which tracks the 25 most liquid companies on the bourse, rose 0.38% to 448.72 points.
The BET-NG, which includes companies from the energy sector and utilities, advanced 0.55% to 585.21 points.
Rasdaq-C, the composite index of the over-the-counter market RASDAQ, edged down 0.52% to 1,438.43 points. The RASDAQ turnover rose to 201,229 lei from 98,400 lei on Friday.
