December 17 (SeeNews) - Romanian share indices ended mixed on Monday in increased turnover, bourse data showed.

The blue-chip BET index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB [BSE:BVB], added 0.22% to 4,839.62 points.

The BET-BK, which tracks the 25 most traded companies on the bourse, including the blue chips and the five regional investment funds, the SIFs, fell 0.14% to 1,011.52 points.

The BET-FI, which tracks the SIFs and property restitution fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP], edged down 0.02% to 24,631.80 points.

The composite BET-C index rose 0.42% to 2,634.81 points.

The ROTX index of Romania's 15 most liquid stocks, a joint index of the Bucharest bourse and the Vienna Stock Exchange, gained 0.19% to 9,802.17 points.

BVB's total equity turnover surged to 25.8 million lei ($7.6 million/5.8 million euro), including six block deals worth a combined 8.5 million lei, from 17.8 million lei on Friday.

Fondul Proprietatea picked up 0.19% to 0.538 lei in Monday's largest turnover of 5.6 million lei.

Drugmaker Biofarm [BSE:BIO] was the top gainer among the blue chips, adding 1.0% to 0.202 lei in deals worth 96,800 lei.

SIF Transilvania [BSE:SIF3] was the top SIF loser, falling 0.71% to 0.695 lei in turnover of 1.6 million lei.

The BET-XT index, which tracks the 25 most liquid companies on the bourse, climbed 0.13% to 461.22 points.

The BET-NG, which includes companies from the energy sector and utilities, advanced 0.56% to 592.95 points.

Rasdaq-C, the composite index of the over-the-counter market RASDAQ, rose 0.53% to 1,411.67 points. The RASDAQ turnover grew to 258,500 lei from 219,000 lei on Friday.
