The blue-chip BET index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB [BSE:BVB], picked up 0.06% to 4,799.94 points.
The BET-BK index, which tracks the 25 most traded companies on the bourse, including the blue chips and the five regional investment funds, the SIFs, retreated 0.48% to 983.22 points.
The BET-FI, which tracks the SIFs and property restitution fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP], declined 0.43% to 23,257.88 points. The composite BET-C index eased 0.03% to 2,637.30 points.
The ROTX index of Romania's 15 most liquid stocks, a joint index of the Bucharest bourse and the Vienna Stock Exchange, inched up 0.01% to 9,286.93 points.
BVB's equity turnover surged to 19.2 million lei ($5.4 million/4.2 million euro), including three block deals worth a combined 9.8 million lei, from 6.6 million lei on Monday.
Blue chip Fondul Proprietatea was the most traded stock on Tuesday, closing flat at 0.525 lei in 3.2 million lei turnover in regular trading. On the block deals segment, about 5.7 million shares of the fund changed hands in two block deals worth a combined 3.0 million lei.
Lender BRD [BSE:BRD] was the top blue-chip gainer, advancing 2.40% to 7.68 lei in Tuesday's second-largest turnover worth 1.2 million lei.
SIF Moldova [BSE:SIF2] was the top decliner among SIFs, falling 1.86% to 1.322 lei in deals worth 493,200 lei in regular trading. On the block deals segment, some 5.2 million shares of the SIF Moldova traded in a single block deal worth 6.8 million lei.
The BET-XT index, which tracks the 25 most liquid companies on the bourse, lost 0.09% to 450.86 points.
The BET-NG, which includes companies from the energy sector and utilities, decreased 0.97% to 572.02 points.
Rasdaq-C, the composite index of the over-the-counter market RASDAQ, depreciated 0.61% to 1,438.41 points. The RASDAQ turnover surged to 1.3 million lei from 508,300 lei on Monday. Nearly 5.8 million shares of Compania de Remorcare Maritima Coremar changed hands on RASDAQ in one block deal worth 974,200 lei.
