Romanian share indices sink deeper

The bourse's total equity turnover fell to 28.7 million lei ($8.0 million/6.4 million euro) from 29.3 million lei on Monday.

Blue-chip investment fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] edged down 0.85% to 0.8720 lei in Tuesday's largest turnover in regular trading of 7.1 million lei.

Blue-chip natural gas producer Romgaz [BSE:SNG] added 0.36% to 33.15 lei in the second-largest turnover, of 6.3 million lei.

Blue-chip power distributor and supplier Electrica [BSE:EL] fell 2.22% to 11 lei in 3.8 million lei turnover, the day's third largest.

BET-XT is a blue chip index and reflects the price evolution of the most liquid 25 shares traded on the regulated market, including the SIFs, and ROTX tracks Romania's nine most liquid stocks, a joint index of the Bucharest bourse and the Vienna Stock Exchange.
