Romanian share indices pile up gains

The bourse's total equity turnover fell to 33 million lei ($9.0 million/7.4 million euro) from 47.1 million lei on Friday.

Blue-chip investment fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] edged up 0.17% to 0.8800 lei in Monday's largest turnover in regular trading of 8.2 million lei.

Blue-chip lender Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] jumped 2.08% to 1.8120 lei in the second-largest turnover, of 5.9 million lei.

Blue-chip bourse operator Bucharest Stock Exchange [BSE:BVB] rose 2.34% to 33.25 lei in 4.0 million lei turnover, the day's third largest.

BET-FI tracks the SIFs and property restitution fund Fondul Proprietatea. BET-NG includes companies from the energy sector and utilities. BET-XT is a blue chip index and reflects the price evolution of the most liquid 25 shares traded on the regulated market, including the SIFs, and ROTX tracks Romania's nine most liquid stocks, a joint index of the Bucharest bourse and the Vienna Stock Exchange.
