December 16 (SeeNews) - Romanian agriculture holding ROCA Agri RDF, part of ROCA Group, said on Friday that it has completed the takeover of local agricultural products manufacturer and distributor Dachim and local peer Supliment, both part of the Vetimex Capital Group.
The transaction, which received approval from the country's anti-trust authority, brings ROCA's exploitable land surface to 4,000 sq m, the company said in a press release.

"In the next period, we will focus on the integration of businesses and pursue other transaction opportunities in the market, in order to strengthen our position as a national player in the agribusiness segment" said Florin Deznan, CEO of ROCA Agri RDF.
Following the deal, ROCA Agri RDF expects to end 2022 with an EBITDA of 7.5 million euro ($7.8 million) and a turnover of 150 million euro.
Dachim is a trading company for agricultural products owned by local investment company Vetimex Capital. The company owns an extrusion plant in Romania's Arad county and a cold-pressed oil manufacturing plant located in Cluj county.
Supliment is also part of the Vetimex Capital Group and operates in the agricultural sector, owning some 150 ha of exploitable land.
ROCA Agri holding also includes RDF SA, RDF Agricultura and Adidana.
