Romanian Closed-end Investment Fund OTP WiseRO To Start Trading on Bucharest Bourse on Oct 8

BUCHAREST (Romania), October 7 (SeeNews) – Shares of Romanian closed-end investment fund OTP WiseRO will strart trading on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BVB, on Thursday, the bourse said.

OTP WiseRO’s 44,739 shares have a face value of 200 lei ($69/47 euro) each, BVB said in a statement issued late on Tuesday.

The investment fund’s initail public offering of 100% of its capital took place between  June 29 until July 27 and was was 49% oversubscribed, raising 8.95 million lei against the planned 6.0 million lei.

In June, OTP Asset Management Romania, part of Hungary's OTP Group, said it has launched the OTP WiseRO closed-end investment fund with guaranteed capital. The fund follows the movements of an index developed by the WISE US example (which is scanning the movement of the S&P500 stock component on a monthly basis), designed by Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking and calculated daily by the rating agency Standard&Poor’s.
