December 2 (SeeNews) - The foreign exchange reserves held by Romania's central bank, excluding gold, totalled 28.737 billion euro ($43.2 billion) at the end of November, up by a net 335 million euro from a month earlier, the central bank said on Wednesday.
Foreign exchange inflows in November totalled 2.693 billion euro, including commercial banks' reserves, mandatory provisions and the results of the euro-denominated bond auctions, the central bank said in a statement. Outflows to foreign debt servicing and other payments totalled 2.358 billion euro last month.
Last month Romania sold 2.2 billion euro in one-year and three-year government securities.
In November the central bank's gold reserves remained unchanged from a month earlier, at 103.7 tonnes. The reserves are worth 2.597 billion euro at current international gold prices.
Romania is due to pay 76 million euro on its foreign debt in December.
