December 30 (SeeNews) - The share of non-performing loans (NPLs) in the credit portfolio of Romanian banks inched down to 15.31% at end-October from 15.33% a month earlier, data from the Romanian central bank, BNR, indicated on Tuesday.
The bad loan rate stood at 20.39% in March, when BNR introduced changes in the methodology, and hit a peak of 20.47% at end-April, the central bank said in a report posted on its website.
