Romanian Bakery Firm Titan 9-mo Net Profit Falls 14% - Table

November 14 (SeeNews) - Romanian bakery company Titan reported on Friday a nine-month net profit of 6.36 million lei ($2.15 million/1.70 euro), down from 7.43 million lei net profit a year earlier.

The company has said it expects to increase its gross profit to 69.03 million lei this year from 12.87 million in 2007.

The company's shares were last traded up 4.0% at 0.26 lei by 1110 GMT on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

Vienna-based Leipnik-Lundenburger Invest, part of LLI Euromills, became Titan’s majority owner last year after buying a 60% stake in the company from Greek bakery group Loulis.

LLI Euromills now owns 67.99% of Titan, while Loulis holds a 29.52% stake. Various other shareholders own the remainder.
