Romanian Aircraft Maker Aerostar Sees Net Profit at 9.04 Mln Lei (2.1 Mln Euro) in 2010

December 11 (SeeNews) - Romanian aircraft manufacturer Aerostar sees its net profit at 9.04 million lei ($3.1 million/2.1 million euro) next year, the company said on Friday.

Aerostar gave no comparative figures, but last December it said it expected a 7.6 million lei net profit in 2009. Teraplast reported 4.0 million lei in net profit for the first nine months of 2009, down from 4.5 million lei a year earlier.

Aerostar said in a statement it expects 11.3 million lei in gross profit on a turnover of 150 million lei in 2010, according to the company’s budget, approved at a shareholders’ meeting on Thursday.

The total revenue is seen at 155.3 million lei and total costs at 143.97 million in 2010, the company said.

Aerostar also said it plans to invest 8.75 million lei next year, including 5.25 million lei coming from its own funds. The company gave no additional details.

Aerostar shares were suspended from trading on Thursday due to the general shareholders’ meeting, They last traded at 0.59 lei on the BVB on Wednesday, unchanged from the previous close. The shares will resume trading on December 14.
