The grants will help SMEs to refurbish their technological capacity by investing in modern equipment and energy efficiency projects, the investment and European projects ministry said in a press release on Thursday.

The scheme will be open to applicants until October 31.

The technology grants are part of a 1.5 billion euro government support package for businesses impacted by the pandemic, by high energy and fuel prices and by the war in Ukraine.

The package also includes grants for small and large companies which aim to invest in energy efficiency, working capital micro-grants for the agri-food sector and other funds destined for SMEs looking to increase their resilience by investing in more efficient technologies.
