November 28 (SeeNews) - Romania sold on Monday 394.2 million euro ($413 million) worth of new Treasury bills maturing on November 27 2023, below target, central bank data showed.
The average accepted yield was 2.87%, while demand totaled 490.3 million euro, the data indicated.
Also on Monday, the finance ministry sold 349.3 million euro of Treasury bonds maturing on November 28 2025, below the planned amount.

Romania's finance ministry intends to sell 4.8 billion lei ($1.02 billion/ 974 million euro) worth of government securities in November, including 585 million lei in non-competitive offers.
So far this year, Romania has sold just roughly 56.5 billion lei and 1 billion euro worth of bonds and bills. It has also has tapped foreign markets for 2.5 billion euro worth of 2028 and 2034 Eurobonds, as well as $3.85 billion worth of dollar bonds.
