Romania sells 185 mln euro of 2024 T-bills, above target

April 1 (SeeNews) - Romania sold on Monday 917.4 million lei ($199 million/184.6 million euro) worth of discount Treasury bills maturing on October 23, 2024, above target, central bank data showed.

The average accepted yield at the auction came in at 6.01%, with demand totalling 1.086 billion lei, the data indicated.

Total bids placed (mln lei) 1,086.7
Bid-to-cover ratio 1.2
Yield (%) 6.01

So far this year, Romania has sold some 30.52 billion lei of government securities.
