Romania sells 152.4 mln euro of 2026 T-notes, above target

November 13 (SeeNews) - Romania sold on Monday 757.7 million lei ($162.7 million/152.4 million euro) worth of Treasury notes maturing on October 28, 2026, above target, central bank data showed.

The average accepted yield came in at 6.47%, compared to 6.62% achieved at the previous auction of government securities of the same issue held last month. Demand for the T-notes, which carry an annual coupon of 7.2%, rose to 954.7 million lei on Monday from 609.3 million lei at the previous auction.

The issue will be reopened on Wednesday, when the finance ministry hopes to raise an additional 75 million lei through a non-competitive tender.
