The average accepted yield rose to 6.14% at Thursday's auction, from 6.09% achieved at the previous auction of Treasury paper of the same issue held earlier this month, the central bank said in a data release. Demand for the government securities, which have an annual coupon of 6.3%, climbed to 830 million lei on Thursday from 765 million lei at the previous auction.
The issue will be reopened on Monday when the finance ministry hopes to raise an additional 60 million lei through a non-competitive tender.
