In monthly comparison terms, Greece's consumer prices increased the most among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE) last month, by 1.8%, Eurostat said in a data release on Wednesday.
In contrast, Bulgaria registered the lowest monthly rise in consumer prices among EU members in SEE, at 0.2%, while the EU as a whole recorded a monthly inflation of 0.7%.
Bulgaria also marked the lowest annual inflation in the region in March, at 3.1%, above the EU average of 2.6%.
