Romania-Moldova customs undergo 10 mln euro overhaul

December 7 (SeeNews) - The Romanian Customs Authority said that customs offices on the border between Romania and Moldova are being modernised as part of a 10 million euro ($10.8 million) EU-backed project.

The initiative is funded by the European Union through the Romania-Moldova Joint Operational Program 2014-2020, the customs authority said in a social media post on Wednesday.

Customs offices on the Albița-Leuseni, Sculeni-Sculeni and Giurgiulesti-Giurgiulesti border crossing points will be revamped as part of the project.
