Romania hires four intl banks for dollar-denominated bond - Reuters

November 29 (SeeNews) - Romania has hired Barclays, BNP Paribas, Citigroup and HSBC to manage a U.S. dollar-denominated bond, Reuters reported on Thursday quoting a source away from the deal.

The banks have declined to comment, Reuters said.

The deal will likely take place next year, it added.

Romania has sold $2.25 billion (1.74 billion euro) in dollar-denominated bonds on the U.S. market and 2.25 billion euro in euro-denominated bonds on international markets since the beginning of 2012.
