October 28 (SeeNews) - Roche Bulgaria, a unit of Swiss healthcare company Roche, has signed drug supply contracts with two local hospitals worth a total of 23 million levs ($13.1 million/11.8 million euro), registry agency data showed on Monday.
The drug trader has signed a 10.1 million levs deal with Georgi Stranski Hospital and a 12.9 million levs contract with Complex Oncology Centre, two separate notices filed by the two hospitals showed.
Roche Bulgaria's contract with Georgi Stranski Hospital was signed on September 24 in competition with 22 candidates. The deal with Complex Oncology Centre was inked on October 3, as the tender attracted interest from 15 bidders.
Roche Bulgaria's main activities include trade and distribution of pharmaceuticals. The company is also engaged in research and development of new pharmaceutical products.
