RBI's Jan-Sept after-tax profit in Bosnia up 28.5% y/y

November 3 (SeeNews) - Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Friday its after-tax profit from operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina rose to 50 million euro ($53.2 million) in the first nine months of 2023, up 28.5% year-on-year.

Bosnia-based Raiffeisen Bank generated an operating income of 103 million euro in January-September, up 9.7% on an annual comparison basis, the parent bank said in an interim financial report.

RBI's net interest income from Bosnian operations went up 34.5% on the year to 63 million euro in the period under review, while net fee and commissions income edged down 2% to 40 million euro.

General administrative expenses were 9.4% higher at 45 million euro in the first nine months of 2023, compared with the same period last year.
