Raiffeisen Leasing, CEB to extend 10 mln euro for financing SMEs in Serbia

BELGRADE (Serbia), November 27 (SeeNews) – Serbian lender Raiffeisen Leasing said that it signed a 10 million euro ($12.9 million) agreement with the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) for financing SMEs in Serbia.

According to the agreement the two parties will contribute 5 million euro each, Raiffeisen Leasing said in an emailed statement made available to SeeNews on Tuesday.

The aim is to provide easier access to financing for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), the statement noted.

Raiffeisen Leasing was founded in 2003 as a joint venture between Raiffeisen Banka Beograd and Raiffeisen Leasing International.
