ProCredit Bank Kosovo 9-mo Net Profit Rises 17.7% To 15 Mln Euro

Following are details from ProCredit Bank Kosovo's balance sheet and income statement posted on the website of Kosovo’s Central Bank (in millions of euro):

The bank’s 2006 net profit was 7.84 million euro.

ProCredit Bank Kosovo, initially known as Micro Enterprise Bank, was the first licensed in Kosovo just 11 months after the end of the 1999 armed conflict.

In the autumn of 2003 MEB was renamed to ProCredit Bank Kosovo, joining the international banking group ProCredit, currently its majority owner with a 83.33% stake. The remaining shares are owned by Germany's Commerzbank.
