Petrol leads blue-chip gainers in Ljubljana, Sava Re drops

LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 30 (SeeNews) – Fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Monday, LJSE data showed.

Petrol's shares closed at 375.0 euro, up 1.63%.

Reinsurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] fell the most among the blue chips, erasing gains it recorded in the previous session.

Sava Re’s shares closed 1.10% lower at 18.0 euro. On Friday, the company closed 1.11% higher at 18.2 euro.

The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 926.10 points, up 0.14%.

Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] generated the day’s largest turnover – of 1.08 million euro.

Total regulated market daily turnover more than doubled to 2.8 million euro ($3.1 million) on Monday from 1.29 million euro on Friday.
