The news agency did not specify the size of Pepsi's stake in Marbo prior to the deal.

Marbo officials declined to comment.

Earlier this month Serbian media reported that PepsiCo Inc. was in talks to acquire Serbian mineral water and juice bottler Knjaz Milos, owned by UK-based investment fund Salford Capital Partners.

Marbo Product, established in 1995, has production facilities located 120 km from Belgrade and 30 km from Novi Sad.
