Turkey's airports served 30 million international passengers in January-November, a drop of 70.6% on an annual comparison basis, according to data published by the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI).
Passengers on domestic flights decreased by 49.6% year-on-year to 46.7 million in the period under review.
The number of total aircraft movements, including overflights, dropped by 48.1% on the year, to 979,959.
Total freight traffic shrank by 42.4% to 2.2 million tonnes.
In March, Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan ordered the suspension of all international flights to and from the country in order to contain the coronavirus outbreak. The country restarted domestic flights on June 1, whereas international flights resumed on June 11.
