December 17 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose further on Tuesday, as Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] paced the blue-chip gainers, ZSE data showed.
Optima's shares closed at 7.35 kuna, up 3.52%.
Diversified holding company Djuro Djakovic [ZSE:DDJH] paced the blue-chip losers for a third straight trading day with shares closing 4.62% lower at 4.96 kuna.
Apart from the blue-chips, confectionery producer Kras [ZSE:KRAS] rose sharply by 9.87% to 835 kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] generated the highest trading turnover among the blue chips - 3.8 million kuna, including a block transaction of 2 million kuna. The company's shares rose 0.58% to 174 kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover fell to 13.6 million kuna ($2.0 million/1.8 million euro) from 18.1 million kuna on Monday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index rose 0.14% to 2,015.38, following Monday's advance by 0.71%.
The narrower of ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.06% to 1,192.86 after increasing by 0.39% on Monday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index fell 0.04% to 115.9188.
