OMV Petrom's Q3 daily hydrocarbon output drops

October 10 (SeeNews) - The hydrocarbon production of Romania's top oil and gas group OMV Petrom [BSE:SNP] dropped to 117,200 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day in the third quarter of 2022 from 122,800 boe per day in the same period of 2021, the company said on Monday.

OMV Petrom's daily hydrocarbon production in the third quarter of 2022 was lower compared to the second quarter of 2022, when it produced 120,100 kboe per day.

Total daily hydrocarbon sales volume amounted to 112,000 boe per day in the July-September period, down from 116,700 boe per day in the same period of 2021.

Total sales of refined products fell to 1.51 million tonnes in the third quarter of 2022, compared to 1.54 million tonnes in the like period of last year.

The volumes of gas sales to third parties fell to 7.1 TWh in the third quarter, from 8.17 TWh a year earlier.

Net electricity output rose to 1.42 TWh in the third quarter, compared to 1.37 TWh in the same period of 2021.

OMV Petrom said it will publish its third-quarter financial report on October 28.

Austria's OMV Aktiengesellschaft holds a 51.011% stake in OMV Petrom. The Romanian economy ministry owns 20.639% and 28.35% is the free float on the stock exchanges in Bucharest and London.

Shares in blue-chip OMV Petrom traded 0.35% lower at 0.4295 lei ($0.09/0.09 euro) by 1039 CET in Bucharest on Monday.
