January 25 (SeeNews) - Fuel retailer OMV Bulgaria, part of Austrian energy group OMV, said it appointed Angel Tukhov as its new general and retail manager, replacing Decebal Tudor.
Decebal Tudor, who took over the company in March 2019, will now focus on OMV's operations in Serbia, OMV Bulgaria said in a press release on Wednesday.
Tukhov, with over seven years of managerial experience, has been serving as CEO of OMV Petrom Moldova for the past two years. He began his career with OMV Bulgaria in 2010 in the finance department and was later appointed supply chain manager for non-fuel products in Bulgaria and Serbia.
OMV, which entered the Bulgarian market in 1998, operates 93 filling stations and employs some 1,400 staff across the country. By 2023, the company had invested over 400 million levs ($223 million/204.5 million euro) in Bulgaria.
In 2001, OMV entered the Serbian market. Headquartered in Belgrade, OMV Serbia has 63 filling stations and holds around 10% market share in the country.
