Oman investors set up mining firm in Macedonia

SKOPJE (Macedonia), September 14 (SeeNews) – Oman investors have set up a mining company in Macedonia, Oman Balkan Mining, the Skopje-based trade register said.

Oman investors set up mining firm in Macedonia

The non-ferrous metals mining company was set up by Habibur Rahman Farooqui and Mohammad Shujauddin Khan with a capital of 1.848 million denars ($38,780/30,050 euro), the trade register said earlier this week. It approved the company's registration on September 12.

Omani investors are interested in metal exploration in the region of the central city of Prilep and the Osogovo Mountain in eastern Macedonia, business daily Kapital (www.kapital.com.mk) said on Friday.
