February 26 (SeeNews) - Dutch-based Nunner Logistics said on Monday it has signed a 5,000 sq m lease agreement at Romania's VLParks Bucharest West, a logistics park developed by Israeli construction group Villar International.
The new space will allow the logistics services provider to expand its offerings and client base in Romania, Gerhard Gerl, general manager of Nunner Logistics Romania said in a press release.
VLParks Bucharest West's first unit spans 10,000 sqm. The entire project is planned to reach a total leasable area of 80,000 sqm upon completion.
Founded in 1955, Nunner Logistics operates facilities in Austria, Germany, and several Eastern European countries, including Romania. In Romania, the company runs logistic centers in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Bacau.
With a history of over 50 years, Villar International Group has a strong presence in Israel and internationally, having a market value of $700 million (645.3 million euro) on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. It owns two logistics parks in the Romanian capital, VLParks Bucharest West and VLParks Bucharest South.
