An unnamed source from the National Bank of Serbia told Blic (www.blic.rs) that they are currently searching for the most favourable solution that will be both long-term and sustainable as well as in the best interests of owners, customers and depositors.
Nova Agrobanka is wholly-owned by Serbia's state-run Deposit Insurance Agency.
In December, NBS placed Agrobanka under receivership and in May revoked its licence after its receivers concluded that the activities taken during the administration process have failed to improve the bank's financial standing.
