North Macedonia's Q3 job vacancy rate drops

SKOPJE (North Macedonia), December 4 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia's job vacancy rate stood at 1.51% in the third quarter of 2019, down from 1.67% in the like period of 2018, the country's statistical office said.

The statistical office registered 7,791 job vacancies and 508,810 occupied positions in the July-September period, it said in a press release on Monday.

The highest job vacancy rate in the third quarter was registered in the administrative and support service activities.

The country's southeast region had the highest job vacancy rate in the third quarter, of 2.35%.
