LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), October 23 (SeeNews) – Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJSE:NLBR] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday, supporting a rise in the main share index, LJSE data showed.
NLB's share price rose 1.47% to 55.4 euro.
Fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] fell the most among the Slovenian blue chips on Wednesday. The company’s shares closed 0.28% lower at 353.0 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 873.15 points, up 0.22%.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest portion of LJSE's trading turnover on Wednesday – 314,280 euro.
The LJSE's total trading turnover fell to 557,490 euro ($621,021) from 1.44 million euro on Tuesday.
