NIS tops turnover list on Belgrade bourse, share indices end up

October 1 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.

A total of 5,657 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 3.8 million dinars. NIS shares lost 0.44% and closed at 675 dinars.

The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.32% higher at 753.51 points.

Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price rose 4.48% to 816 dinars.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.11% to 1,607.42.

The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 10.3 million dinars ($95,800/87,650 euro) on Tuesday, up from Monday's 8.5 million dinars, as 157 transactions were carried out.

Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 4.4 million dinars.

No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
