NIS tops turnover list on Belgrade bourse, share indices end mixed

BELGRADE (Serbia), November 13 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover and led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.

A total of 2,955 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 1.68 million dinars. NIS closed up 1.25% at 567 dinars.

The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.02% at 710.15 points.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.02% at 1,515.60.

The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 14 million dinars ($140,800/119,100 euro) on Friday, up from 2.1 million dinars on Thursday, as 61 transactions were carried out.

Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 11.65 million dinars.

In the period between November 9 and 13, BELEX15 went up by 0.66% and BELEXline rose by 0.27%.

The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 752.3 million dinars, versus 335.7 million dinars last week.

Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 708.6 billion dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange this week.
