In April alone, registrations dropped 33.2% year-on-year to 13,047 vehicles, APIA said in a press release.
Light commercial vehicle registrations, including minibuses, increased by an annual 59.2% to 1,669 units in April, while registrations of heavy commercial vehicles and buses grew 113% to 890 units.
As many as 30% of the new passenger cars registered in Romania during the January-April period were manufactured by Dacia.
