October 11 (SeeNews) - Slovenian port operator Luka Koper said on Thursday a new regular liner service will connect Koper with Libya.

The new liner service, operated by Med Cross Lines, will connect the ports of Koper, Venice, Benghazi, Misurata and Tripoli every 14 days, the port operator said in a statement.

The liner is also ready to accept, on inducement, cargo to minor ports such as Tobruk or Marsa El Brega.

The route will be served by ro-ro vessel Gazalle which is scheduled to make its maiden call at the Koper port on October 24.
