New car sales in Croatia up 27% y/y in Nov

December 4 (SeeNews) - Sales of new passenger cars in Croatia rose to 3,427 in November from 2,698 in the same month of 2022, market research agency Promocija Plus said on Monday.

Skoda was the top-selling brand in the country of some 3.89 million people with 505 cars sold in November, Promocija Plus said in a statement. Its sales rose on an annual comparison basis, from 298 cars sold in November 2022.

Toyota followed with 355 cars, up from 202 in November 2022. Volkswagen ranked third with 345 cars, down from 399 last year.

The best-selling models in November were Skoda Octavia with 207 cars, Dacia Sandero with 102 ones and Renault Clio with 88 cars sold.

New car sales in the first 11 months of 2023 totalled 53,282, up from 41,385 in the same period of 2022.

Sales of new passenger cars in Croatia fell 2.7% last year to 44,088, following an annual increase of 25.5% in 2021, according to earlier figures by the same agency.
