The benchmark index was constrained by a 3.30% dip in fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] to 20.50 levs and a 2.70% tumble in hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:MSH] to 10.80 levs.

Alongside the two companies, battery manufacturer Monbat [BUL:MONB], which slid 2.26% to 3.46 levs, dragged down the BGBX40. The index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, closed 0.08% lower at 165.31 points.

The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, erased 0.29% to 810.08 points. It was impacted by the losses at Neochim and M+S Hydraulic, as well as a 2.19% slip in pharmaceuticals maker Sopharma [BUL:SFA] to 6.26 levs.

On the other hand, the BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, added 0.11% to 189.88 points on the back of a 0.91% increase in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.34 levs.

Cargo drone developer Dronamics's special purpose vehicle Dronamics Capital [BUL:DRON], which leapt 5.38% to 2.74 levs, propelled the BEAMX. The index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, soared 1.77% to 99.11 points.

IoT products maker Shelly Group [BUL:SLYG] generated the highest turnover of the day, which came in at 87,569 levs ($48,978/44,773 euro) after 1,307 shares traded. The stock closed 1.21% higher at 67.00 levs.

Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse went down to 361,327 levs on Wednesday from 559,882 levs a day earlier.
