Exports inched up 0.1% on the year to 427.7 billion denars in the January-October period, while imports fell 8.8% to 568.3 billion denars, Makstat said in a statement.
North Macedonia's exports mainly consisted of supported catalysts with precious metal or precious metal compounds as an active substance, ignition wiring sets and other wiring sets used in motor vehicles, aircraft or ships, other supported catalysts.
The country predominantly imported petroleum and oils obtained from bituminous minerals (other than crude), metals of the platinum group, compounds of precious metals and amalgams of precious metals.
North Macedonia's main trading partners in the review period were Germany, the UK, Greece, China and Serbia.
